Reviews & Testimonials
There is no greater compliment than the trust our clients place in us.
Every dog is unique, and every training journey looks a little different. Whether we’re helping a family navigate puppyhood, preparing a future therapy or service dog, working through behavior challenges, or strengthening the bond between a dog and their owner, our goal is always the same: to create confident, successful teams that can enjoy life together.
Nothing means more to us than hearing how that journey has impacted the lives of our clients. We are incredibly grateful to every family who has trusted Dawgs at Work with their dogs and taken the time to share their experience.

Senior living communities that aren’t partnering with Dawgs at Work LLC are missing out an incredible opportunity. We have the pleasure of hosting their therapy dogs every week in Betty’s Harbor, our memory care, and they impress our staff and delight our residents every time. From custom programming, clear communication, and professional handlers, we look forward to working with them for years to come.
“Fiona” | SERVICE: In-Home/Off-Site Training
I have had a great time getting to learn about my rescue, a 70lb German Shepherd, with Mandi at Dawgs at Work. Fiona has learned a ton of confidence and anxiety control. My family is very lucky to have found Dawgs at Work. They are committed to helping you manage your beloved dog. Dawgs at Work has been there for all our questions and concerns. We highly recommend them. Ask for Mandie!
Berry | SERVICE: Pet Dog Training
Berry’s beginners training classes at Dawgs at Work were very helpful and informative. We had a great experience with our trainer. She was very knowledgeable and really took her time with us. Berry is definitely better behaved and listens to her commands, she is definitely more confident and she has really come out of her shell. Thank you Dawgs at Work for helping both of us with her training. I would highly recommend Dawgs at Work for your dog’s training. Thank you
Sulley & Ditto | SERVICE: In-Home/Off-Site Training, Pet Dog Training
A few years ago, we brought our dog to his first obedience class with Dawgs at Work and it was the best thing we ever did for him and ourselves! What started as a frustrating relationship with our high energy young dog has transformed into a once in a lifetime partnership thanks to DAW. The lead trainer, Mandie, gave us the skills and confidence we needed to work with our dog and we left every training session feeling positive and accomplished. Thanks to the guidance from DAW, we get to have so much fun with our well behaved dog on hikes, competing in sports, or just hanging at a coffee shop while he lays quietly at our feet. Now that we have a second puppy, there is a brand new set of challenges for us to work through and we are already seeing fantastic progress after a few sessions with Mandie and Hannah! If you’re having any training issues, want to sharpen your dog’s obedience, or just want to improve your relationship with your dog, I highly recommend Dawgs at Work!
Holly | SERVICE: Therapy Dog Handler Course
I truly wish that every dog owner was required to take classes with Mandie at Dawgs at Work. I learned so much about dog body language, behavior, and training even from just the first 1.5 hour session! Mandie is extremely knowledgeable, and it is clear how well her training methods work from observing her interact with dogs and young puppies. One of the most important components of the classes at Dawgs at Work is that they do not only train dogs, but more importantly, they train owners/handlers to work with their dogs. Mandie has given me the skills and knowledge necessary to be confident as a dog handler and problem-solve on my own if my dog does not seem to be responding in the way I want her to. I also really liked that Mandie’s approach to disciplining dog “misbehavior” involved gentle but firm re-directions or corrections rather than yelling or being harsh with the dog—that was very important to me as a dog lover. Finally, Mandie made class a very positive, supportive learning environment and a comfortable place to ask any questions or make mistakes, which I really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend the training classes at Dawgs at Work.
