Service Spotlight: Puppy Board and Train Looking for a jump start on training? Our Puppy Board and Train program gives puppies the opportunity to live and learn in a trainer’s home environment while building important life skills and foundations. Available in 2, 3, and 4 week options, this is not a kennel style program. Puppies become part of daily life while working on house manners, kennel training, socialization, confidence building, beginner obedience, leash skills, and more. Because the program is home based, puppies gain experience in real world environments and everyday routines while receiving individualized attention and training. Thinker Thursday

Physical exercise is important, but mental exercise matters too. Mental stimulation helps dogs build confidence, practice problem solving skills, reduce boredom, and engage natural behaviors in healthy ways. Puzzle toys, treat dispensing toys, snuffle mats, beginner scent games, food puzzles, hide and seek, and simple thinking exercises can challenge your dog’s brain in ways that physical activity alone cannot. Just a few minutes of focused mental work can leave many dogs feeling satisfied and fulfilled. A tired dog is not always a dog that ran the farthest. Sometimes it is the dog that spent time thinking.
