Levi is Honey’s brother and is working hard as he prepares for an exciting future serving the Holy Cross Church community in Indiana through their Dog Ministry. Every day, Levi is building the skills he’ll need to confidently support others through meaningful interactions, calm companionship, and the unwavering connection that therapy dogs provide. From practicing obedience and public manners to strengthening his confidence in new environments, each training session brings him one step closer to graduation.
We’re incredibly proud of the progress Levi has made and can’t wait to celebrate his graduation at the end of the summer. His future is bright, and we know he’ll make a lasting impact on everyone he meets at Holy Cross Church. Way to go, Levi! We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow.

Pearl is a 3-year-old Goldendoodle who has been part of the Dawgs at Work family for the past three years. During that time, she has grown into a wonderful therapy dog with a calm, affectionate personality and a heart full of love for the people she meets. Pearl works alongside Grace in our Wellness Paws for Hire program, where she regularly visits assisted living and long-term care communities. These environments are where Pearl truly shines. Her gentle nature, relaxed demeanor, and genuine love of human connection make her a favorite among residents and staff alike.
Some of you may recognize Pearl’s sister, Britta, who serves as a therapy dog at Ascension St. Francis Hospital. While Britta spends her days supporting patients and staff in a healthcare setting, Pearl has found her calling bringing comfort, companionship, and smiles to seniors throughout our community. Whether she’s sitting quietly beside a resident, accepting gentle pets, or simply sharing her calming presence, Pearl has a special way of making people feel seen and valued. Sweet, mellow, and endlessly affectionate, Pearl is a wonderful example of the impact therapy dogs can have on the lives of others.
Recently we have made the decision to make Pearl available for purchase as a Therapy Dog. This decision was difficult for us to make but we feel that she would be able to better serve her community as a placed therapy dog which will allow her to focus her work more directly and more frequently. Grace is a 4-year-old Labradoodle and one of Dawgs at Work’s permanent placement program dogs. As the lead dog for our Wellness Paws for Hire program, Grace spends her days doing what she does best: bringing comfort, connection, and smiles to the people she meets. Living with one of our certified handlers, Grace is an active member of the community and can often be found visiting schools, churches, assisted living communities, and memory care facilities. Whether she’s brightening a resident’s day, helping a student feel more at ease, or providing companionship during a ministry visit, Grace has a special way of making meaningful connections.
Her work doesn’t stop there. Grace has also participated in one-on-one visits in private homes, offering comfort, companionship, and support to individuals and families who can benefit from the presence of a therapy dog. With her gentle nature, friendly personality, and love for people, Grace represents everything we strive for in a therapy dog. She is a wonderful ambassador for the human-animal bond and the positive impact therapy dogs can have in our communities. Iris has been participating in our training program and continues to impress us with her friendly personality, eagerness to learn, and calm approach to new experiences. She enjoys being with her people, learns quickly, and has a wonderful balance of confidence and affection.

Sweet, smart, and ready for her next adventure, Lilac is currently available through our program and continues to impress us every day! Over the past several months, Lilac has been training with Dawgs at Work, building a strong foundation through structured training, socialization, and real-world experiences. She is eager to learn, loves working with her people, and has the friendly, affectionate personality that makes her a joy to be around.
Lilac has been working on important life skills including leash manners, calm greetings, settling in new environments, confidence building, and maintaining focus around distractions. Through her training, she has been exposed to a wide variety of people, places, sounds, and situations to help prepare her for success in her future home.
We believe Lilac would be an excellent candidate for a family companion, emotional support dog prospect, therapy dog prospect, or anyone looking for a well-started young dog with a wonderful temperament.

Gracie is a 9-month-old Mini Labradoodle and one of the newest members of our Stepping Out Therapy Dog Program! This sweet girl is working toward her therapy dog certification with the goal of bringing comfort, companionship, and smiles to people in schools, hospitals, and other community settings. While she is still in the early stages of her journey, Gracie is already showing great potential.
Through the program, Gracie is building the skills, confidence, and reliability needed to become a successful therapy dog. From learning how to remain calm in new environments to developing strong manners and focus around distractions, each step is helping prepare her for the important work ahead. We are especially excited to begin the next phase of her training, where she’ll start gaining more experience in public settings as she continues progressing through the program. Way to go, Gracie! We can’t wait to watch you grow and see all the lives you’ll touch along the way.
